The U15 Mixed Cricket Team entered the Devon School's Hardball Competition and have qualified for the second round after defeating Newton Abbot College by 90 runs. 

After losing the toss and being put into bat, there were excellent individual contributions from Albie B (61 not out) and Gethin W (56 runs), which included seven sixes, resulting in a few lost balls into nearby car parks and trees! South Dartmoor's destructive display of batting led to a total of 156-5 off 20 overs. 

South Dartmoor bowled out Newton Abbott College for 66 runs. Wickets were shared across the team with wickets taken by Owen W, Immy D-T, Drew P, Olive M and Albie B. The pick of the bowlers was Immy D-T who took 3 wickets for 4 runs off her 2 overs.

South Dartmoor progresses into the next round to play the winner of Shebbear College or Park Community School.
