For all of you who are new to the school, we are the Parent Teacher Association and we are committed to helping South Dartmoor provide the best possible experience for all its students no matter what their background so that they can all go on to fulfil their potential and make a positive contribution to their communities.

Friends of South Dartmoor Association (FOSDA) - building on our successes

Last year we finally got back to fund-raising after COVID when we held a spring concert, a summer raffle, and sold ice pops at break times. In all, we made £3,890 which we are ploughing back into school to pay for the free curriculum enrichment trips which took place at the end of last term. So many, many thanks to everyone who bought or sold tickets and to all the incredibly generous local businesses who donated the prizes.

This term we have already raised around £270 running the park and ride for the Ashburton Food Festival and we are holding a car boot sale at school on Sunday October 16th - perfect for picking up a bargain and de-cluttering at home.
